04

Free plan terms

The Jiffy Free plan is available to any cleaning business or individual without charge, without time limit, and without requiring a credit card. There are no hidden costs associated with the Free plan.

What the Free plan includes

The Free plan provides access to Jiffy's core compliance course library — currently comprising COSHH Awareness for Cleaners, Manual Handling, Fire Safety Awareness, and Lone Working. These courses are written specifically for the UK cleaning industry and are kept current with HSE guidance. Jiffy does not guarantee that additional courses will be added to the free tier in future.

Sustaining the free plan

The Free plan is sustained through industry sponsorships, the supplier marketplace, and paid upgrades. This means that sponsor content may be visible to Free plan users. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled. Sponsor relationships do not influence course content, which remains editorially independent. See Section 10 (Sponsor relationships) for full details.

Limitations

Jiffy reserves the right to impose reasonable fair-use limits on Free plan accounts at any time, including limits on the number of active staff accounts, storage of completion records, or access to certain features. We will provide not less than 14 days' notice of any such change to registered account holders.

Continuation of the free plan

Jiffy intends to maintain a free tier indefinitely. However, we do not guarantee the permanent availability of any specific free features. If we ever discontinue the free tier, we will provide not less than 90 days' notice to registered account holders.

05

Pro plan terms

Subscription and billing

The Pro plan is available at £49 per month (exclusive of VAT), billed monthly in advance. Payment is taken by card through our payment processor. By subscribing to the Pro plan you authorise Jiffy to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full Pro access until the end of the paid period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Downgrade

On cancellation of Pro, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan. Your existing training records and certificates remain accessible. Features exclusive to Pro — including exportable compliance reports, renewal reminders, and the full course library — will no longer be available.

Price changes

We will provide not less than 30 days' written notice before changing the Pro plan price. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

06

Ultimate plan terms

Bespoke pricing

The Ultimate plan is priced individually based on the size, complexity, and specific requirements of your business. Pricing is agreed in writing before any engagement begins. Ultimate plan terms are supplemented by a separate service agreement confirming the specific scope of features and consulting services included.

Course creation and custom pathways

Ultimate plan users may create their own training courses and pathways on the Jiffy platform. You retain ownership of any content you create. By uploading content to the platform you grant Jiffy a non-exclusive licence to host and deliver that content to your enrolled learners. Jiffy does not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose without your written consent.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create and publish complies with applicable law, does not infringe third-party rights, and meets reasonable accuracy standards for health and safety training material. Jiffy reserves the right to remove content that violates these requirements.

H&S guidance

H&S guidance included within the Ultimate plan is provided to assist your understanding of relevant regulations and best practice. It does not constitute legal advice. You remain responsible for compliance with all applicable health and safety legislation.

07

H&S consulting services

Scope of consulting services

Jiffy's H&S consulting services include the production of bespoke health and safety documentation — including H&S policies, COSHH assessments, risk assessments, method statements, tender compliance packs, and quality management systems — for UK cleaning businesses. All consulting work is carried out by qualified health and safety professionals.

Service agreements

Each consulting engagement is governed by a separate written service agreement confirming the scope, deliverables, timescales, and fixed price agreed between Jiffy and the client. These terms of use apply in addition to any service agreement. In the event of conflict, the service agreement prevails.

Important disclaimer — consulting services
Your responsibilities

To enable Jiffy to produce accurate and relevant documentation, you must provide complete and accurate information about your business, your sites, your staff, the chemicals you use, and the tasks your staff carry out. Jiffy cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies in documentation that result from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client.

Revisions

Each consulting engagement includes one round of revisions within the agreed scope. Additional revisions or changes in scope may be subject to additional charges, which will be agreed in writing before work proceeds.

Cancellation of consulting engagements

Where work has commenced, cancellation by the client may result in a cancellation fee proportionate to the work completed. The applicable cancellation terms will be set out in the service agreement.

08

Supplier marketplace

Nature of the marketplace

The Jiffy supplier marketplace is a directory of vetted suppliers of cleaning products, PPE, equipment, and related services. Suppliers pay a fee to be listed. The marketplace is provided as a convenience to cleaning businesses and does not constitute an endorsement of any specific product or supplier by Jiffy.

Transactions

Transactions made through or following introduction via the marketplace are directly between you and the relevant supplier. Jiffy is not a party to any such transaction and accepts no liability for the quality, fitness, delivery, or any other aspect of goods or services supplied by marketplace participants.

Supplier vetting

Jiffy takes reasonable steps to vet marketplace suppliers before listing them, including reviewing their credentials and customer feedback. However, Jiffy does not guarantee the ongoing quality, reliability, or compliance of any supplier. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before making any purchase.

Your data and the marketplace

Marketplace suppliers do not receive your personal data. Suppliers receive only aggregated, anonymised information about platform usage. See our privacy policy for full details.

Dispute resolution

Any disputes relating to marketplace transactions should be raised directly with the relevant supplier. Jiffy may, at its discretion, assist in facilitating resolution of disputes, but is not obligated to do so and bears no liability for the outcome.

09

Sponsor relationships

How sponsorships work

Jiffy is partly funded by organisations — including insurance providers, trade bodies, and equipment suppliers — that pay to be associated with the platform. Sponsorships may take the form of branded content, featured placement, or co-branding within the platform.

Transparency

All sponsored content on the Jiffy platform is clearly labelled as such. We are committed to full transparency about our commercial relationships and publish our approach to how it's free on our website.

Editorial independence

Sponsor relationships do not influence the content of Jiffy's training courses, compliance documentation templates, or consulting advice. Course content is developed and reviewed independently by qualified health and safety professionals. Jiffy will not alter course content at the request of a sponsor.

Sponsor data

Sponsors receive aggregated, anonymised reporting about platform usage — for example, total course completions or geographic distribution of users. Sponsors do not receive personal data about individual users or account holders. See our privacy policy for full details.

Sponsor liability

Jiffy is not responsible for the products, services, claims, or conduct of any sponsor. Any commercial relationship you enter into with a sponsor is between you and that sponsor. Jiffy accepts no liability in connection with such relationships.

10

Your content and data

Ownership

All data you upload to or generate through Jiffy — including staff records, training records, completion data, and certificates — belongs to you. Jiffy does not claim ownership of your data.

Licence to Jiffy

By using the platform, you grant Jiffy a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your data to the extent necessary to provide the platform's services to you. We do not use your data for any other purpose without your consent.

Data export

You may export your data from Jiffy at any time using the platform's export tools. We will provide your data in a standard, machine-readable format on request. See our privacy policy for data retention and deletion details.

Accuracy of data

You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you enter into the platform, including staff names, roles, email addresses, and any other details. Jiffy cannot be responsible for errors or inaccuracies in certificates, reports, or records that result from incorrect data provided by you.

11

Certificates and compliance documentation

What certificates represent

Certificates generated by Jiffy confirm that the named individual has completed the relevant Jiffy training course on the date shown. They are a record of training completion — not a professional qualification, licence to practise, or guarantee of competence.

Certificate acceptance

Jiffy certificates are designed to document completion of HSE-aligned training. We cannot guarantee that a specific client, inspector, or authority will accept a Jiffy certificate as sufficient evidence of compliance in their particular context. You are responsible for confirming the acceptability of Jiffy certificates with any relevant party before relying on them.

Certificate validity periods

Jiffy courses display recommended renewal periods based on industry best practice. These are guidance only. There is no universal legal requirement for specific renewal frequencies — the appropriate renewal period for your business depends on your risk assessment, your chemicals, and applicable regulations. Jiffy is not responsible for any consequences arising from reliance on recommended renewal periods without independent professional assessment.

12

Acceptable use

You may use Jiffy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms and our acceptable use policy. You must not:

  • Use the platform to enrol individuals without their knowledge or consent
  • Fraudulently complete courses on behalf of another person
  • Misrepresent or falsify training records or completion data
  • Share login credentials between multiple users
  • Attempt to copy, scrape, or extract course content for use outside the platform
  • Upload content to the platform (on Ultimate) that is inaccurate, illegal, or infringes third-party rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its underlying infrastructure
  • Use the platform for any purpose other than training and compliance management for a legitimate cleaning or facilities business

Breach of acceptable use terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

13

Intellectual property

Jiffy's intellectual property

All course content, platform design, templates, software, and other materials created by Jiffy are owned by Uchu LMS Ltd and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Jiffy's content without express written permission.

Permitted use

Your licence to use the platform and its content is limited to your internal business use for the purpose of training and managing compliance for your cleaning business. Certificates and reports generated by the platform may be shared with clients, inspectors, and relevant authorities in the normal course of your business.

Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Jiffy, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. We are always grateful for input from the cleaning businesses we serve.

14

Liability and disclaimers

Platform availability

Jiffy aims to provide a reliable, always-available platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the platform for maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

Accuracy of course content

Jiffy takes reasonable care to ensure that course content is accurate and current with applicable UK regulations and HSE guidance. However, health and safety law and guidance changes over time. We do not warrant that course content is accurate, complete, or up to date at all times. You should not rely solely on Jiffy course content as the basis for your health and safety management — particularly in high-risk environments.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jiffy's total aggregate liability to you in connection with these terms, the platform, or any services — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees paid by you to Jiffy in the 12 months preceding the claim; or (b) £500.

Jiffy shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss or damage, including loss of profit, loss of contracts, loss of revenue, or reputational damage, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform or any services.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jiffy, its directors, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or any claim by a third party arising from your use of Jiffy's certificates or documentation.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

15

Termination

Termination by you

You may close your Jiffy account at any time from your account settings. On closure of a Free account, your data will be deleted within 90 days in accordance with our privacy policy. On cancellation of a paid subscription, your account downgrades to Free at the end of the paid period and is subject to Free plan terms.

Termination by Jiffy

Jiffy may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach these terms, our acceptable use policy, or any applicable law. Jiffy may also terminate your account with 30 days' notice for any other reason. In the event of termination by Jiffy without cause, any unused prepaid subscription fees will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

Effect of termination

On termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Jiffy will make your data available for export for 30 days following termination, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

16

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will notify registered account holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect, or 30 days before changes that affect your subscription pricing or materially reduce your rights.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you may close your account before the changes take effect.
